Great Company - Social Media Manager LUDEX Employee Review

LUDEX is absolutely amazing! The environment is filled with determined, hardworking, knowledgeable and professional people who are always working to better the company. The CEO and COO, Brian and Heather, are extremely hardworking and compassionate people who will answer any and all questions you have. They will check in with you and your team to make sure you are understanding what needs to be done and will help you if you become stuck. Brian and Heather care about each of their employees and go above and beyond to make sure you want to come into work everyday. When starting at LUDEX, each employee is allowed to pick out a pair of Jordans that they get for free! Absolutely amazing! If you love cards, this company is perfect for you! If you aren’t that interested in card collecting you won’t feel like an outcast at all and will be taught everything you need to know about cards and the hobby by the people who know it best! Overall an absolutely amazing company and work environment. I recommend LUDEX to everyone!

Like most startups it can be a very challenging environment especially if you don’t put in the work. If you’re not up for the challenge, this might not be a place for you.

I don't say a palpable culture lightly. The culture is remarkably positive. Everyone is here because they want to be, not because they have to be. As a result, people are happy and focused and they know (and want) to accomplish their goals. The expertise is also incredible. Many different disciplines and a willingness and ability to share it in a consumable way (which is not always the case in many organizations). I know this sounds cliche, but if you want to be a part of something meaningful that is actually going to be successful, this is the place to be. Just come ready to work, because it's game time when you walk in (ok that part is cliche I admit).

You would think it would be work-life balance with a start-up as a con, but they are stunningly respectful of your free time. And even more interesting, but you will actually want to spend some of your free time with the people that work here. They are actually quite cool, hilarious and totally different unique personalities. Ok sorry didn't actually list a con. I guess if I have to list one it would be that it's located in the city, so if you're in the burbs that would count as a location negative.
