Management couldn’t be bothered to pay longstanding employees their worth. They started to leave when their complaints were disregarded and went to work for competitors, who offered higher wages for less responsibility. The facility became grossly understaffed. Unreliable, underperforming staff were retained and led to poor morale and low expectations. The building flooded and was not cleaned for months despite a damp, musty smell that was apparent to customers and staff. For five months, we continued to work in a building with mold and soft spots in the floor since we were scheduled to change locations soon, anyway.
