Pros

Met some great colleagues and team mates.

Cons

Now where can I even start with the cons? Way too many to count. First of all, if you want a job that will dangle you on a string, treat you like a child and cause your mental health to plummet- then look no further because this is the role for you. Everything is monitored, toilet breaks, etc all monitored. Wrap time, is monitored. You cannot talk to colleagues during wrap time, or if you’re busy wrapping things up after a call you are queried on why. Secondly- they’ll tell you how well you’re doing and how good you’ve picked up the job role, and then extend your probation anyway. which is merely an excuse to mess you around and dangle you around some more. managers don’t know how to work the computer system, team leaders are rude and can’t be bothered with you, and nobody gives a care in the world to how you’re feeling. Death in the family? Well you best hope not because LV will give you ABSOLUTELY no understanding at all, and instead penalise you for taking time off. My group started as 12, we’re now down to a small handful. I know colleagues off sick for stress because their mental health is so bad. This company has dragged me so badly to the ground that I almost forgot my worth. made me feel like I didn’t deserve the role, fed me lies. oh, and when they say they care about the customer in your interview. they really don’t. they care about the money and about getting you off the call as quick as humanly possible. You have your calls listened in on all the time, without any real need. And you best believe that if you tell a manager something in secret, the rest of the team know it within an hour. Do yourself a favour, save yourself from getting so unwell and go for another job. because anything is better than this shambles known as LV. You’re simply a slave, and a number. Not a person. And the morals on their lanyard ‘everybody counts’ don’t go believing them either. I am now happy to say I have another, way better job lined up - where your personality actually counts!

I’m sorry to hear you feel you don’t get the support that you need. We always try to do the best we can for our employees and take their welfare very seriously. We have support in place at all times and where someone doesn’t feel they can talk to their manager, our Employee Assistance Programme allows them to reach out confidentially for support relating to any work or life issues they may be having. Where an issue is raised to a manager, we make sure they have the tools and training to support that person as much as they can but if this isn’t the case, it can be escalated to a more senior member of our team. If you would like to discuss the further please email employeerelationsGI@lv.co.uk.
