Great little company - Technical Support Specialist LVM Systems Employee Review

This is a great company to work for. They pay your full medical, great Christmas bonus, two Christmas parties, year end profit sharing. The owner has set aside enough to pay all wages for one if there was no income for the business. The business is growing and just opened a second office next to the first one. Great snacks in the kitchen, if you want something ask and it will be there next week. The company buys lunch once a week.

The salary tends to be on the low side.

-Low Wages -Nepotism -Complete mishandling of the COVID Pandemic At first glance this seems like a pretty good company to work for, employees and management are nice and the benefits (particularly healthcare) are quite good.  Unfortunately the company's response to COVID was simply unacceptable. Despite the fact that the vast majority of employees were working in the office, there was no mask policy or social distancing policy. Only a handful of employees, and a single member of management, would consistently wear masks.  Worse, the company continued to have in person meetings and even started having large company meals. This all contributed to a work culture that treated the virus as a mild inconvenience at best and and joke or hoax at worse. This would be bad enough at any company but this company specifically works with medical technology. Having a workplace that is so deeply involved in healthcare simultaneously ignore the simplest COVID healthcare policies during a national health crisis was a jarring and frustrating experience.
