Fun job but Trey was terrifying - Anonymous employee Laird + Partners Employee Review

Everyone was terrified of the Trey Laird, including people who knew him 20 plus years. If you were not famous and the most important person in the room, you might as well have been a doormat to him. Only ever cold and rude to me, he had two assistants at one point and a personal driver but laid off over 25% of his company. There was a cultural study done at one point to find out why so many people were quitting and the answer was obviously because of Trey and his fear culture. Upper management told the woman who ran to study to lie and share a very watered down version of company feedback with him because they were all scared of his response.
