Pros
Most colleagues are great people, although so many are coming and going that who knows what things are like from one day to another.
Cons
Someone asked me about working at this place and suggested I write a review on here to warn others. There are multiple open positions at LUJ for a reason. At least a few colleagues (whom I personally talked to) left because of power harassment and bullying by higher ups, behavior that is condoned by the dean in Japan AND the main campus in Wisconsin. Instructors that didn't leave out of their own accord were let go after submitting formal complaints. It is truly awful. Both colleagues and students are unhappy with "assignments" such as babysitting a course coordinator's children (yes, the course coordinator has the habit of taking her children to work and having students and/or instructors watch the children in or outside of class). The same coordinator also has the habit of hiring her husband instead of qualified instructors, dodging work, and, of course, engaging in power harassment and bullying of instructors. Again: such behavior is condoned and has been ongoing for years!
