Pros

Excellent workplace culture - Deeply committed to living its corporate values in day-to-day work life. Lakeside is very performance driven and utilizes all available data in everything from forecasting to performance based compensation (in addition to base salaries). Other positives: Fun, dress casual environment Multiple annual employee special events Dog friendly Wonderful people who really care about one another Good benefits Great teamwork and culture of helping one another Committed to success, growth, & both customer & employee satisfaction Maintains transparency (such as Town Halls) and encourages feedback and creative solutions

Cons

Fast paced, and can be high stress so good self care is important (and is encouraged by leadership) or you risk burnout. Like any employer, may not be a good fit for everyone

Pros

Great people, always working to improve, lots of opportunities to share honest feedback and become part of the solution. Dog friendly. Also lots of employee incentives, recognitions, rewards and fun events. Innovative company. They care about the customer.

Heavy workload volume not for everyone

The other employees are nice and fun to work with

Cons

All of the “eagles” act like they are there to help but in reality will do everything they can to avoid addressing an issue or listening and responding to actual concerns. If they spent half as much time making improvements as they did taking surveys about why people are unhappy the company would be a lot better off. A lot of the upper managers take more vacations than they do actual work and when they are working are not available or approachable. The work life balance here is non existent and when you let them know you are over capacity they say they care but do nothing to help. The managers need to better manage their ecxpectations or actually try doing some work theirselves. There isn’t one ounce of diversity in this company. The thought of being different in the slightest might send them all into orbit.
