Cons
The owners of the company are elderly and aren’t really able to run the business but there is no HR or higher up management to talk to when they can’t help with an issue. The owner also suffers from dementia or Alzheimer’s and doesn’t remember important conversations you have about turnover work for units, and will get angry at you because he thinks you aren’t doing your job because he can’t remember things. He really does try to be helpful and it’s not his fault, but it makes your job really difficult. No health benefits and you aren’t payed enough to basically run the business for them. They have a very old school view on things like gender roles and an 80’s outdated management style.
