Good benefits, nice culture, flexible schedule.

Benefits are generally good but you lose your PTO balance at the end of the year if you don’t use it.

Starting this job, I was impressed by the company mission, the excitement of working for a company which stood for change, and a good class as foundation for effective work. I think salary needs improvement but I like the profit sharing, 15% discount, special 30% sales, and the occasional pastry or food truck.

As the months went on, I was victim of favoritism towards senior employees. Team leads do nothing to assist or lead new employees. Addressing issues with direct management and store management go no where. Advice given to change positions or get along with those who verbally abuse and outright shame and demean you is absurd. Gossip is the gospel truth as performance feedback rather that management doing their job with clear and measurable responsibilities. Employees who are downright mean get nominated for employee of the month! How is management so blind? I need this job but am considering applying elsewhere just to move into a new job with eyes open. Finally, you cannot progress unless a senior person quits or retires. I'd move to another store but what happens if I'm poisoned by unfair reputation?
