Pros

- The company is full of talented people who are pleasure to work with - The product is great and is only going to get better with more investment - The business has been incredibly well run and so is in an enviable position financially when compared with businesses at a similar stage of growth - The culture is as good as it gets, even throughout Covid, the team have managed to maintain a level of care and engagement that I haven't seen before - Feels like we are only just getting started. There is so much more growth to come both internationally and with new product offerings - Genuinely love coming to work

Cons

- Not really any cons at this stage. There are some growing pains and we can't hire fast enough to keep up with the growth but that's the nature of any successful, fast growing tech business

Pros

Terrific process from start to finish including a professional search firm, Atara Partners, who were also top notch. LandTech was in touch throughout every stage, clear on next steps and timelines and very respectful of schedules at every turn. The team was genuine, the work was well laid out and the excitement around the growth potential can be felt by all. Exciting to help bring this needed tech to America to help solve the housing crisis by giving developers and communities the data they need to be successful.

Cons

From the beginning the process was smooth. My expectations were managed that I'd work temporarily with a PEO firm to set up while we established the required entities in the USA to do business. This is not a con from my perspective but some are uncomfortable with interim interfacing partners. New US-based hires would not be subject to this, however, as part of my new role is to help solve unique challenges like this.
