I am forever grateful to have been accepted to work at Language Studies Indonesia (LSI), where I have been guided by amazing mentors since 2019. They have shown me how commitment, dedication, and focus can transform a life in ways I never imagined. Coming from a family of five with no source of income, and being the eldest daughter, I feel incredibly blessed by the universe for leading me to this place, which I now consider my second chance at life. I have transformed from a young girl into a woman who stands on her own feet. I have made significant decisions, become stronger, and found peace amidst chaos. I am proud to say that LSI has given me the opportunity to live my life to the fullest, fostering personal growth and providing valuable feedback to help me improve my skills. My mentors always welcome those who seek answers to their questions, and I believe that improving skills and pursuing personal growth are keys to having an amazing life—one that cannot be purchased. I was once a self-centred person until my mentors guided me and helped me discover my true self. They taught me invaluable lessons in patience, vulnerability, humility, love, forgiveness, acceptance, empathy, leadership, bravery, problem-solving, and many other qualities that I never learned in school. I hope many people can recognize the values that LSI offers. Working at LSI has truly been a life-changing experience for me.

I have not experienced any negativity while working here. I understand that all consequences given were a result of my actions, and I accept every consequence because I believe its purpose is for my benefit.

It's never crossed my mind that I would spend more than half a decade of my life in this place. In an era where loyalty is rare to find and hopping from one place to another is a common occurrence, especially among people from my generation and background. This place successfully convinced me to do otherwise What keeps me here is its value and how the people inside continually strive to uphold that value. Life is a never-ending process of learning, and to learn something new, we need to be able to unlearn something first. I never knew such a concept before, at least until I spent my time in this place. Personally, I'm never a big fan of teaching or learning. I spent most of my time on entertainment and something that keeps me focused on myself and satisfies my desire for pleasure. At least until I started to grasp the value, the thing that people in this place continually strive to uphold. It took more than 8,766 hours times 2 for the value to penetrate my thick skull and for me to realize. Realize that I need to unlearn so many things that I always uphold in my life, and to prioritize my well-being. The same realization killed the boy I was and turned me into the man I am. From the boy who admires others who continually strive to uphold the value of the company to one of the team members who contributes to upholding the same value. The value of being a long life learner.

Everyone has the potential to turn their life upside down, to grow, to leave the old self, to live their new life, but only so many choose to be. Sadly, this place suffers from the same issue. Seeing people whom I spend time with come and go without any or so little improvement is heartbreaking and sadening. But it's naive if I believe everyone will choose the same choices as I did. I know that everyone has their priorities and life path. I would say it's a Cons, but if you want to turn your life upside down, learn to be a long life learner, this is the place, and if you are not, I wouldn't recommend you work here.
