Depends a lot on immediate manager; don't trust higher management - Anonymous employee Laserfiche Employee Review

Pros

Work-life balance. People rarely work overtime. If you have a good manager that shields you from all the favoritism and politics going on at higher management levels, it can be very rewarding and stable. There are a number of good managers that people love working under. Unlike many tech companies, product is not obviously evil

Cons

President has very obvious favorites and promotes them rapidly, while ignoring everyone else. There are many employees in similar roles as his favorites that he pays no attention to; he just fixates on his 'pets' and ignores everyone else. Said something really offensive to me on my second day of work even though he knows nothing about me and had no reason to be rude. He has no ability to spot bad managers; lets them wreak havoc as long as he likes them enough. Nepotism---favoritism for family members of the CEO etc. Socially conservative environment, expect all kinds of microaggressions if you're of a lower class, lgbtq, not white/Asian, etc. Some people are obsessed with policing how long you spend at your desk (even though many of us have laptops); atmosphere is repressive and unsocial.

Pros

working at Laserfiche has been a fantastic experience. I'm not even kidding. From the moment I started, everyone was just so helpful and the whole team is super collaborative. The work itself is challenging, but in a good way, and it feels like what we do actually makes a difference for our customers. If you're looking for a good company that's smart and actually cares about its employees, you should totally check out Laserfiche.

Cons

Things change fast and project shift midflight because technology changes. You got to be adaptable and ready to change or be completely disappointed. Work loads can vary greatly. There is a heavy focus on security. Sometimes you have to work on legacy systems.

Pros

Decent work-life balance and benefits Hybrid work (although jobs could be done fully remote)

Cons

Low trust in employees’ ability to do their job. Upper management and executives set expectations that just make the job more difficult especially when flexibility to work with multiple time zones are a must.
