Pros
With a little luck and ambition, you can get some really valuable work experience at Laserfiche. There's also a constant stream of young, fun, and intelligent coworkers to interact with. Just don't expect them to stick around long.
Cons
Horribly, horribly mismanaged. Senior management in basically every department has gotten there through nepotism or flattery, and has very little idea what they're doing. The company pays lip service to promoting a "work-life balance" but in reality is highly inflexible and requires total dedication from employees. Everyone at the company is either 23 or 50+ because Laserfiche will now only hire recent college grads (so they can be underpaid), and anyone that hasn't already been there for a decade and talked their way into management leaves after a year or two. Your coworkers (especially if you work in sales or marketing) will constantly be untrained, frustrated, and scared of losing their jobs. You will be very deeply underpaid for your work. The software itself has always been behind the times technically, but used to compensate for that through ease of use and clever design. Now, the product suite is fragmented, complicated, bloated, and even more outdated. If you have the opportunity to work elsewhere, you should take it. Fun exercise for your interview: ask HR what percentage of people pictured on the Laserfiche Careers page still work at the company. If they give you a number above 30%, they're lying.
