Pros
Three shift plant includes: Tool shop with CNC capabilities, warehouse, and molding area. Plant is fairly clean, however not well organized.
Cons
Company is top heavy on nepotism and hiring from its good old boy network. A definite glass wall existed between the office, and the regular workers. Another thing that was somewhat uncomforting seemed to be a sense of tension among upper management, which lightened up during the week. Weekends are great, but problems did exist on Thursday and Friday which going unchecked, caused problems the next week. Training, was minimum and supervisors failed to follow up to see if new hires adhered to quality and time standards. If problems did arise due to this, the blame game trickling down to others was the usual solution. The company was ISO certified, but in two years, that was still a work in progress. Experienced being hired seemed rare, and the opening pay rate was below poverty level. Turnover among new hires was terribly high.
