Pros

Its fun to read all about how they spend boat loads of money for a bozo to travel around the world and take selfies with various industry leaders, record pod casts where they talk about how they're solving fake problems that nobody asked for, and how all of this takes place immediately after layoffs, firings, and endless reorgs.

Cons

This company is pretty much a ponzi scheme to move money from the left hand to the right. PE owns the clients, they own the leadership, they own Launch consulting. The crap delivery and entire lack of anything security related in these delivery engagements is all intentional. No investment or willingness to build a true consulting company exists here. Pretty much these guys find some garbage level work at a sister company owned by the same PE group, chunk some bogus vague sow that says something like 'develop a thing for client'. Then there's endless excuses and games played with billing their sister companies based on requirements, scope, and deliverables that nobody accounted for, discussed, or even knows how to deliver in the first place. Straight Trash. This company isn't really a company, its a shell to run money through from the greater PE group so they can show they're losing money and never pay taxes. There's no way this is a serious attempt at building a consulting organization or trying to be remotely competitive in 2026. Not a chance. Its impossible for me to believe that any team of people could be this bad without it being intentional. Its a total clown show here. There's no opportunity for professional growth because there is no such thing as professional growth here. Yearly feedback is you talking to some person who wasn't there 6 months earlier and they just type some pre-worded HR stuff, or if you're lucky they've used Co-Pilot to have AI generate some useless words for a 2 star review. Nothing useful. No raises or cost of living expenses provided here. Want a raise? Sure go beg for it after 6 years with no increases. The excuses are the same every year, the firm isn't doing well. No kidding, I see why. Key words to describe this place include : Absent leadership, abysmal client delivery, terrible culture, farce of an HR, client solutioning like a 5 year old, fake clients, awful project management, no oversight, good ol boys network, bozo's at a clown show If you get hired here you're an old timer within 6 months. If your project ends they're going to fire you for some made up illegal excuse. How these clowns haven't been sued yet I honestly don't know. They're absolutely horrid to work with.

Pros

If you want to use and learn AI every single day, not just talk about it, this is the best opportunity I've seen. AI tooling is embedded in how we deliver, sell, and operate internally, from agentic platforms for clients to AI assistants in our own workflows. You learn by doing, on real client problems, with top-tier technology partners in the mix. The new leadership team, many with a legacy at Maven Wave Partners, brings a proven playbook for building a premium, partner-led consulting firm, and you can feel the difference in how the firm operates. The strategy has sharpened around AI transformation and it finally feels coherent. Talented, collaborative people who genuinely want to build something.

Cons

There has been significant leadership turnover and several shifts in strategy over the past 12 months, and that created real whiplash for teams. The bigger ongoing friction is the legacy mindset of The Planet Group, the parent company, which still operates more like a staffing business than a consulting firm. That shows up in places like investment decisions, back-office processes, and how growth is measured, and it can slow down the transformation the new leadership is driving.

Pros

Decent salary, they were able to find me two alternative jobs to move to once I was laid off due to client budget cuts to the project.

Cons

Minimal national holidays recognized, no raise or inflation adjustment in over 2 years. No bonus, no annual evals, expensive health insurance.
