Pros
Networking, some of the workshops are helpful (most are worthless) , office work could potentially be useful as they use excel, word, and power point stuff. Management cares.
Cons
The work you do is not applicable to most majors. When I did the internship 75% of what I did was go to people's house's try to get people to vote a certain way, and get yelled at.
The office work is researching a bunch of congressmen and making excel, word, and power point stuff. Personally I did not feel it was helpful towards acquiring any skills I can be proud of.
Basically if you want a internship where you can write a bunch of stuff on your resume without actually learning anything this is the internship for you.
Management makes grand promises and doesn't deliver (hypes up stuff to much).
