Pros
Most pros is that you get free bowling and a discount in the pro shop. You only get half off some of the food and only when you're working.
Cons
Communication is terrible and breaks are never given. I worked up at the front desk for a while. When I was hired on I was told I was going to be given full time and working a said persons shift since I was taking over their position. After I'm all trained in I'm dropped down to part time and someone else took the position. I tried to ask what is going on and what happened and all I was told was the owner wanted to cut hours. I consistently was given 4 to "slow" shifts which always made me worry and question if I can afford to pay my bills with these shifts. I again tried talking about it to my manager and he shut me down. I continued working and kept trying to ask what's going on in some area so I'm informed and I could possible help or do something. My manager pulled me aside later and told me to stop asking because they dont want to repeat themselves. I was told to just float be there when I'm needed and wait to be told to do something. So I listened and did just that and I got sent to handle arcade redemption every night. I had multiple parents look at me their and say "I would kill myself if I worked your job." I'm already suicidal so this didnt help my mental health. I brought it up to the manager I been getting these comments and he basically told me to have tough skin and ignore it. One day I got injured and hurt my ankle so I'm sent home. The next day I am wearing a walking boot and working and a girl came up asking for bumpers. There is an age limit for bumpers so I had to tell her no. However, her mother came up angry and said her age should matter and she is also disabled. I did not know this fact and was about to apologize and put the bumpers up for her. The lady interrupted me and said they were never coming back here again. I started crying because the lady didnt give me the chance to fix the situation and I got thrown into an anxiety attack and had to sit in the breakroom for a bit. The moment I got out I was sent home over the assumption that my ankle was hurting me. I became more frustrated and tried contacting my manager about it. He ignored my calls and been ignoring me for a while because I felt there was some tension between me and a coworker and I wanted his advice about it. He texted me later saying if I'm that desperate go back in right now. I am already home and calming down once more and it isnt worth my gas to do another trip. I tell him and he fired me telling me I'm lazy, unreliable, and bad at customer service that I get regular customer complaints. In the time I worked there non of this has been brought to my attention. Never heard about the complaints, never been told I need to improve my work ethic or anything. It was just over. I suggest never working here unless you get to be a mechanic because you are in the back dealing with machines not everyone else in the building.
