Spend a year working at Lazada and you will learn and grow as much as 4-5 years of working for other companies. Management team (specially top level) are highly skilled, experienced professionals; mistakes are always tolerated unless there's really something wrong with you. I don't say it's the best place to work but definitely it's a rare experience. Salaries are fine (not high but not unfair). I gave it 5 star because for me pros weigh way more than the cons.

Still not well organized; it begins having a corporate-style environment though they try to work on culture.

Thank you for your suggestion. We are indeed becoming a little more structure and corporate putting more structure and framework in place. Staff engagement and retention is certainly high on our priority this year and we have a couple of initiatives in place

- Open Door and whistle blowing initiatives rolled out
Q1 2016 - Performance evaluation system enhanced
- Lazada College launched, formal training program design to cover all level of staff
We hope this will benefit and strengthen our teams!
- Decent Pay vs other firms (good tech level)
- Workload is not too crazy
- Good infrastructure with data
Cons
- No direction clarity from management
- A lot of influence from China
- Not as competitive and innovative as its competitors
- Working in silos and taking initiatives might not be valued and supported
- Can grow quickly to manager level especially if the turnover rate is high
- Not suitable for high achievers
