Pros

fun co workers, interesting customers

Cons

the management will do anything to make your life hell while working there. from yes watching you through the securtiy cameras, to belittling you on the phone or in person. they make promises, but than forget them. they do racially profile on the customers. they expect you to work 16 hour days without a break. they do not care if some products that have expiration dates are on the shelves past use date. i can not step foot in this store again knowing how bad they treat the girls

Le Tache Response

Your feedback is appreciated. We are currently attempting a few different things with the schedule to break up some of those long days. It is not easy because there are some of the associates that work in the area you worked at and drive pretty far, so it is easier on their commute to do the doubles and off the next day. You were always a positive person to talk to and a great individual to have on staff.

Pros

Recently Le Tache has added new items for their employees to sell, letting us making more money and boosting sales. When you are in the store by yourself, you take care of the store. YOU are representing Le Tache, and you are what customers see on a daily bases. Yes, there are rules, but what job doesn't have rules? They reward everyone now that sells commissioned items and praise the top sellers each month, ASK QUESTIONS to senior management they are there to help you and want you to do well. Honestly, if the owner ever wants to start Franchising Le Tache around the country, I would definitely start up a Le Tache in other states to keep the name alive and the keep their values around the country, it's a great company and I would love to see it grow.

Cons

Yes, the long hours take some getting used to, and yes their are no "scheduled" breaks, but you do have some down time that pretty much add up to an hour each day. You are held responsible for everything that happens during your shift, sales, cleaning, customers. If you aren't very good at selling and talking to customers and knowing how to up sell, you most likely won't last too long at Le Tache, the management will try their hardest to give you skills you need to perform better and will give you advice, but if you don't at least try, it shows.
