Pros

Everyone outside Jeff is nice.

Cons

Jeff is a very toxic person who goes out of his way to yell at you and miss meetings over it. If you don't word an email almost exactly as he would, you'll have your job threatened.

Pros

You get to be hands on with multiple technologies from AWS to Azure to Office 365 as well as most firewall, network and server products. There is a blend of support and project work, which I like, but others can't handle well or prefer to be focused on only one or the other. Getting interrupted by project work when incoming support or email based requests come in, sucks, but if you're a decent multitasker, your day will fly by.

Cons

Everyone here is good at what they do. This means, you stick out like a sore thumb if you are not as disciplined as others or make mistakes. The team here really does expect everyone to be extremely thorough and to aim for perfection. THat's tough sometimes. Especially if you're new. Everything is a team based thing including conversations about what you should have done differently. That is new to me - your teammates - in the same role as you - and management all give feedback - good or bad as a team.

Pros

Leapfrog is an elite group of people, and as long as you have a work ethic that drives you to succeed, you'll fit right in. The management team and founders of the company expect perfection each and every time. While we obviously could not be perfect, there are procedures in place, which make it hard to make a mistake publicly. Things are double and triple checked and ultimately, it's an intense place to be. I love technology, so for me, this is the place to be as I learned more in my 1.5 years at Leapfrog from internal training and the fact that every member of the team is highly skilled, make it hard to not learn by 'osmosis'.

Cons

The cons really are one thing and one thing only - everyone wants to deliver the absolute best customer service to clients but if you're not good at multitasking or making the mistake if committing to a client and then not following through, it's all good. A few new hires simply couldn't cut it, and dragged the rest of the team down, and their perception is that it's way too much to handle. The 'lazy' people don't like the fact that the team, in total, holds everyone accountable for doing their part.
