Pros

Working here has been an incredible experience so far. The environment, and challenges are exactly as described by the transparent recruitment team and interview process. The potential of the role and organisation feels like standing at the edge of an ocean, vast and full of opportunities. The tide is constantly changing to drive higher standards, and I’m excited by that. There’s a strong emphasis on accountability, development and being the best versions of ourselves. There’s great XFN teamwork and collaboration, where everyone is encouraged to share their ideas and contribute to the bigger picture. The autonomy we’re given to execute our roles is refreshing. Theres a clear journey ahead and an ambitious propensity for growth. Much like climbing a mountain, it can be challenging, but the support from management and colleagues makes the journey rewarding. You're empowered to take on ambitious goals, and there’s a genuine belief that your contributions matter. Everyone is willing to help each other, creating an environment where everyone can thrive. If you're looking for a place that encourages personal growth, where you’ll be challenged to be your best self while fostering a supportive atmosphere, I highly recommend joining this team! I also have to comment on the work life balance. All options are on the table, and there’s clarity on being given the empowerment to look after yourself. Whether it’s a gym session, dog walk, or a lunch time paddle in the river (which I regularly do!) there’s encouragement to manage your energy, not your time.

Cons

If you don’t want to be held accountable and responsible for having an impact, you may not enjoy work here.

Wow - thank you for such an incredible review. It's genuinely inspiring to hear how well the experience has matched your expectations, and how much you're thriving in the role. That blend of challenge, autonomy and support is exactly what we’re aiming for – and your metaphors capture it all so beautifully. We’re especially glad to hear how much the focus on work-life balance, wellbeing and energy management has made a difference. (We fully support the lunchtime paddle!) Thank you for your thoughtful words and encouragement - and for everything you're bringing to the team. We’re excited for the journey ahead, too.

Thank you for such a thoughtful and balanced review - it’s great to hear that the changes we’ve made are landing well and helping to create a more collaborative, focused environment. We know there’s still work to do when it comes to enablement and tooling, and your feedback is a helpful reminder of where to keep investing our energy. The progress we’ve made in onboarding and strengthening the North American team has been a real bright spot, and it's brilliant to hear that reflected in your experience. We really appreciate your belief in the direction we’re heading - and we’re glad to have you on the journey.
