Lenovo has inherited much of the IBM culture it acquired through the PC business and then later with the low end server business, but has spun a very Chinese approach to it which has made the company challenging to work with or for. To succeed there you must find an executive sponsor and spend many hours a week sucking up to that individual if you want to last past any of the many resource actions that take place. Be especially wary of HR as this company empowers the HR function to control many aspects of day to day internal business at the company.
