Flexible work environment job was really suited to the time that I was going thru in my life.
Cons
Executive management very inexperienced especially CEO. None at this company have had experience running prior startups. Alot of Nepotism going at this company. Many friends and family members work here and some are highly unqualified for the roles they have. This company is CHEAP.......on EVERYTHING. Asked about upgrading CRM and was definitely not told no, but was kind of lead on. Product problems - that could possibly turn into retention issues. The product cannot scale/ Customer retention is very low. If you have never sold in this space, DO NOT take a job here. This is not a sexy solution to sell and it's going to be rough. If you come from a competitor, do your due dillegence and ask a ton of questions. If you have other options as far as opportunities, I would 100% pass on this company. As far as due dillegence, I would take any answers from people that currently work there with a grain of salt and if you feel an uneasy feeling go with your gut and probe with more questions. For example, How may reps have made quota? Look people up that have worked for the company in the past and are no longer there and get there take on working there. What are your retention numbers? I would think twice about taking a job here if you are a U.S. based employee as management is out of the UK and can be unresponsive at times to meetings.
