Pros
- Working closely with the business & understanding the company's vision - Good social atmosphere
Cons
- Limited opportunity for career development, due to size of company (eg. You must talk with the right people if you are to get anywhere. Talent is not always recognized or appreciated) - High expectations, with limited resources provided (eg. working systems always faulty) - High amount of pressure placed on employees, in hope that they will can inject fear into their employees to work harder and perform better (eg. regular occurrence of 'Formal warnings' being issued across the board in every department). - Demanding people to fit into their culture, or to behave in a certain manner which is deemed as satisfactory, or as living the values in their eyes (eg. forcing people to join the Social committee, or forcing people to participate in End of Month work functions, or stakeholder parties etc). - Obsessed over cultural-fit, and not enough over content and quality. - No such thing as internal promotion. You may be rewarded with a new title, but your pay actually remains the same (eg. from Team member to Team Leader). - Unnecessarily lengthy 3-day recruitment process
