Pros

Most of the staff I met really cared about students, and the general principles were towards care and support. I felt that students were well communicated with, and the communication from head office was clear and succinct. The company is quite a fun company, and if you get a good manager can be a really supportive place to work. There's lots of room for progression and they'll support you with new roles and development. Good whistle blowing policies and lots and lots of online courses and training. The benefits are good, lots of access to discounts and such by signing up to the health care (taxable benefit), there is also a 24 hour advice telephone line.

Cons

The fact that students (especially International) feel they need to sign a tenancy asap before the rooms are sold, and then LL have no real out clause for them, even if they do not meet their grades - is pretty disgusting really. When students are struggling with Mental Health and have actually dropped out of university, there is no provision to handle this. I've worked with managers who feel superior to these students and can be quite nasty towards these 18/19 year olds. The reference from LL was also rubbish, as it has to come from HR who do not know me! It basically just said that I worked there, nothing about what I had done for the company. Expected to work through lunch/after work at peak times.
