It's super hard to work here. This is not a place to come park for 40 hours and collect a paycheck. What we do is mentally, emotionally, and spiritually challenging. The pace is fast, the resources are limited, and the standard of excellence is high. We are all expected to give our best and be constantly developing and improving. There's a high feedback culture and you will be corrected when you miss the mark. This is a "con" to some, but it's actually something I cherish about the culture.
Also, sacrifice. We employ some world-class creatives, engineers, writers, leaders, etc., and while our benefits are best in class, they could make more money somewhere else. But that's not why we're here.
