Pros
You get to help people who need it. Some coworkers were helpful and supportive. The pay and benefits were awesome!
Cons
There was a major lack of diversity at the company. It wasn't a very inclusive environment. I remember hearing coworkers use derogatory remarks, such as "retarded" and saying a caller should learn to speak English (when they were using Spanish). The work environment was a very restrictive office setting. Work hours were restricted to 40 per week inside specific hours (6am-6pm), despite client needs sometimes lending themselves to more than that. If you did your job well, they gave you more work without any incentive. When they knew an employee would be leaving, they didn't start the hiring process until after the employee left. This led me to have to have a caseload of about 120 clients (up from 80 clients).
