Pros

-At least they pay for training but it's like $500 for 2 weeks worth of training -You gain experience in high-pressure sales scripts and learn the technical side of water chemistry and home filtration systems (RainSoft).

Cons

Non-Transparent Hiring Process: The interview stages feel like a "numbers game." Management is extremely vague regarding compensation and day-to-day responsibilities, gatekeeping essential information until a mandatory orientation. It’s impossible to vet the role before you’ve already invested significant time. High-Pressure "Sales Pitch" Orientation: Orientation is a group event (8–12 people) that feels like a pitch to sell you on the job rather than actual training. You are required to sit through a lengthy, 1-hour recorded sales script before the owner finally discloses the pay structure at the very end. Risky Compensation & Zero Support: Whether you choose 100% commission or the base salary + lower commission option, there is no reimbursement for gas, vehicle maintenance, or travel. All financial risks and business expenses are shifted entirely to the employee with no additional benefits. Ethical & Reputational Concerns: The company has a history of backlash for predatory tactics, including representatives allegedly misrepresenting themselves as city officials to gain entry for "water tests." The sales model relies on "chemical trickery" and high-pressure 1-2 hour demos to create fear about local water. Final Verdict: Do your research before wasting your time. Working for a company with these public red flags can be a risk to your professional integrity and your wallet.
