      Pros

      No work-life balance. Ego-centric management. No focus on careers for journalists who work there. It's all about daily life, daily deadlines, daily grind, and making sure the top dogs get top billing. Play favorites. Bullies.

      Cons

      Where to start--poor pay, poor work-life balance, zero career guidance, zero tolerance for diversity (look at masthead if you think this is wrong), zero oversight of management

      Pros

      Some really great people who are really plugged into the comms industry. High expectations, which translates into great experience if you're willing to take on the responsibility.

      Cons

      CEO, finance, and ops departments could use a reset. Too much collusion with the CEO, which translates into dishonesty - and a bit of corporate self-deception. Very authoritarian / hub and spoke leadership style, so don't work here if you expect to be the 'owner' of anything assuming you are in a role where you do have a lot of responsibility. Everything has to go through the CEO.
