• Toxic environment
• Unprofessional behavior with clicky groups and politics
• No career progression opportunities, only for the selected few who participate in flattery with leadership
• High fluctuation
• Lower salary than market, perks and health benefits
I had a good time with a team that hired me, but due to multiple restructuring, I ended up with a manager who couldn't care less about me. I even doubt they have the professional knowledge to be in their position (lots of people's titles are boosted, and not by merit—directors with 6 years of experience are insulting to people who don't engage in flattery and have more professional experience).
It's not the worst job I've ever had, but a close second.
There are great teams like sales and engineering. But I'd stay away from any role in the design department—it's so toxic!
