The company is a total scam and the people running it are predators who prey on desperate parents and charge them exorbitant fees for a program that may or may not work for their child (in many cases it doesn't but they conveniently like to highlight the "success stories" in order to sell their snake oil, not only to the parents but also the employees"). Very corporate and shady, everybody has that "climb up the career ladder" mentality and the ones who don't get pushed to the wayside. As I said, they charge ridiculously large amounts of money (about 2k a week if I'm not mistaken, for a 20 week commitment) and most of the time the child ends up having to come back for more instruction. I've seen parents paying up to $60,000 for something that in my estimation (and I was a clinician there for almost 5 years) can be done at home for dirt cheap with some rolodex books, index cards, and a sharpie pen, utterly disgusting. The way instructors (the operating term used is "clinician") are treated is appalling as well. You are expected to deal with physical/emotional abuse from students and even from other employees, in my case there was a boundary issue with another employee which I am not sure was ever addressed as I was let go shortly after complaining about it . My advice to potential hires is don't do it, run away as fast as you can, don't let them suck you in with hiring bonus gimmicks. My advice to parents is save your money and steer clear of these soul-less vampires. There are better options out there.
