Hiya - thank you for your honest feedback. We’re truly sorry that your experience at L10 didn’t meet expectations. Our employees’ experience is really important to us and it’s sad to hear we missed the mark - I’ve addressed each of your points: Remote Working: We’re glad to hear you appreciated the flexibility to work remotely across Europe/UK. It’s something many of our team members value deeply - since 2022, we’ve also had people go travelling and work from places as far away as Western Canada and the Philippines. HR Practices: Hearing that our HR practices seemed unprofessional is concerning. We strive for the highest standards, so please email us with more details so we can investigate and make necessary improvements. CEO Leadership: We understand the importance of strong leadership. Internally, our CEO has a high approval rating, measured through pulse check surveys and one-on-one chats. However, he (like all of us) is committed to continual improvement and so we’d welcome more specific feedback via email. Redundancies: In 2022, the business went through a hard reset involving redundancies - it was a really difficult and regrettable period and not one we wish to repeat. Since 2022, there have been no further redundancies. We are focused on maintaining stability and growth for all team members. Strategic Direction: Our strategic goals have been consistent since 2022. While we remain agile and responsive to market changes, our overarching plans remain steady and we are making good progress. Morning Stand-Ups: Our stand-ups are scheduled between 9 AM and 10:20 AM, with only one session at 9 AM. We believe this helps in synchronising our teams effectively, though we always welcome suggestions for better timing. Career Progression: At LineTen career progression has always been individual-driven, which suits many in our startup environment. We’re always listening to our employees to see what they need to work their best and reach their potential. Following recent feedback from some who would like more structure, we are rolling out new competency frameworks to clarify progression paths for everyone. Work/Life Balance: If you value a very predictable working environment, then fair, we acknowledge that our fast-pace isn’t for everyone. That being said, we offer flexibility every way we can without sacrificing our goals - we are fully remote, we offer flexible working hours (which people use to go for appointments, exercise, school runs etc in the day) and we have an unlimited holiday policy. We measure outputs (eg quality of work) over inputs (eg time spent at desk) and this has been a very successful and popular approach that has become embedded in our culture since 2022. Culture: It’s disheartening to hear your experience at LineTen wasn’t a positive one. We strive for open communication, a feedback culture and inclusivity as a priority. Since 2022, we have consciously built feedback stages into our working structures and cycles. We continue to provide training, coaching and mentoring in order to embed open communication and inclusivity as a core part of our culture and values. We value feedback and are committed to making LineTen a better place for everyone. If you have more suggestions, or simply a need to discuss your experiences further, please do not hesitate to reach out via email.

Pros

Allowed to work from home & you have the ability to make a difference in the last mile market which is proving to be ever more crucial during COVID-19. The staff and leadership were very welcoming of individuals from various countries and backgrounds.

Cons

No healthcare benefits for US employees & a frequent change in short term strategy (typical for any start-up in a fast paced environment)

Pros

- It’s a great company that’s growing up fast and has great learning opportunities - In an industry not many people get to work in - The interview process is easy and people are nice - Teammates are friendly and helpful - They give a laptop allowance so that one can buy the best laptop for work and personal stuff - Payments are always on time and properly handled. - They paid an extra for the notice period

Cons

- No training whatsoever - The onboarding process is highly disorganized and has zero structure - They give you a website with endless documents to read and call that “independence” - The leadership is poorly involved in the training process and blame it on the employees rather than admitting they’re the problem - They don’t even follow their BYOD policy as they promise (e.g. I was supposed to be able to keep the laptop but instead they collected it after they ended my probation time).
