Pros
I don't think they have any. If you start with misleading information about your payment structure and your job description then the company is not worth working for.
Cons
I applied to Lingostar through Indeed because the job description said the pay was between $14 to $20 per hour, with the potential to earn up to $2,000 per month. That sounded great, so I applied. However, when I got the follow-up email, it said teachers start at $7 per hour, and even the top level maxes out at $12 per hour. This was super misleading and a huge red flag for me.
Plus, $7 per hour is below the minimum wage in my state, so if this were an office job, I wouldn’t even consider it. Just a heads up for anyone looking at this job – make sure you get all the details on pay before committing!
