Pros

- Some teams are very responsive because they are online 24/7 for work. - The company tries hard to become an MNC so it spends a lot on employee benefits. - The recruitment of new management staff has helped pushed previously less productive and overstaffed departments work harder. - Friendship gained from this job is truly precious because you will have gone through some of the darker working days in life together.

Cons

- Lack of role clarity and extremely male dominant which shows that the company is still far away from being an MNC. - A few bullies with anger management issues. - Despite having announced that promotion would be on a halt for staff at a certain grade or above, promotions still happened for some favoured departments. Totally unfair to staff from other departments that should be recognised. - Don't value honest opinion - instead of understanding why the results from the employee satisfaction survey are less than satisfactory, management staff would rather dig out the "culprits" and make a record of their "disloyalty" to the team. - As it would happen anywhere else - the survival trick is to please and say yes to all the management staff. - As it would happen anywhere else - middle management come up with a lot of unnecessary projects for shining points so extra workload for the juniors. - As it would happen anywhere else - office politics evident in middle and above management level.
