Freedom of opinion and work - In Lister, the developers are given the freedom to work independently. Meaning, developers are free to explore the tech stack, come up with innovative solutions of their own . Our views and opinions are respected by the senior management irrespective of the cadre or the domain to which we belong to. Flat Hierarchy - This may be a cliched term in most of the organisations, but I have witnessed it for real in Lister. Employees are free to walk down to the director's cabin and have a casual conversation, pour in your ideas, exchange your views and most importantly your opinions DO get considered. Good recognition and visibility - Being a medium sized company, it is very easy to gain visibility and recognition by showcasing your talents and achievements. Lister does encourage such achievements not just in words but also through monetary gifts and awards. Most importantly there are SPOT awards to provide timely recognition and encouraging words of appreciation instead of having to wait for year end awards. Cross skilling - Lister offers the opportunities to cross skill yourself across domains or platforms. As long as you are ready to learn, flexible, and express your interest to the senior management, they are ready to give you the chance to switch when the right time comes. Care for Women Employees -Lister is one of the very few organisations that strictly DO NOT ALLOW women employees to stay and work beyond 8pm at their offices.
