      Location and work flexibility (work from home)

      Cons

      I have been at Livanova from before it was Livanova. Over the last 3-4 years we have experienced a lack of strategy and focus. The leadership is not inspirational and often confused in what it communicates. its a pity because the products are good. At the moment we are battling with supply chain issues and there seems to be no recognition for the work. Culture has become toxic.

      Pros

      I think leadership puts a lot of thought into strategy, including the new human imperatives. They're having the right discussions and gathering employee insights. The culture is good and getting better from where i sit (but there is a lot of variability on experiences based on location culture) and I haven't met very many 'weak links' - people are smart and they work hard. Most people really, sincerely care about helping patients.

      Cons

      The size of the company means career pathing will just be limited. You really have to take control of your path and forge it- you can't wait for the organization to bubble up opportunities for you in a way that may be possible at larger organizations.
