Pros

I love going to work each day with the best and brightest. The people on our team are curious, fun to be around, and eager to lend a helping hand. I love how everyone on the team is detail oriented and able to ship high quality software. I’ve worked for quite a few companies, and I’ve never seen a team quite like the one at Livefront. The low turnover rate is a good indicator - people love working here!

Cons

Working for a services company means you don’t necessarily get to choose whether you’ll continue working on a project. That said, the learning experience from working on a lot of different projects is unparalleled. Being a smaller company means you need to find your own way to stand out. You won’t necessarily have someone telling you that you can advance in your career if you accomplish A, B, and C.

Cons

- Little vacation/sick time and maternity leave - PTO policies seem to generally be behind the rest of the industry

Pros

As a software development and design consultancy, everyone here gets to work closely with our customers. We take on projects with all sizes and types of companies, so there's always a huge variety in what we're working on. Coworkers and management are all supportive and fun people to work with and be around. We've had extremely low turnover from the very beginning. We go to great lengths to support the tech community around us. Livefront sponsors many events and organizations around the Twin Cities. Employees are highly encouraged to go and participate in groups and events, either by attending or speaking.

Cons

We have very high expectations and the work could be challenging and too fast-paced for some. There are rare instances where longer hours are needed to deliver a project by a deadline. Not everyone might be excited to directly work with clients.
