Pros
Friendly, convivial atmosphere with mostly young employees in their 20's and 30's. Good benefits. Full Med/Dental/Vision with generous vacation but very few holidays. Friendly and approachable managers. Satisfactory compensation.
Cons
Difficult to attain any work-life balance depending on your role. It is a start-up mentality and, if you work hard, you will be noticed and rewarded. However, be prepared to work long hours and be on-call depending on whether your job function requires it. Upper management can be disorganized at times and it is a very stressful environment for most, if not all, staff members regardless of which department you are in. Funds appeared to be mostly invested into those that had direct, hands-on roles with the technology/product at the expense of other departments. As a result, you may have inexperienced managers and young employees that need more support than is available which adds to an overworked, stressed staff that is already lacking in resources. High employee turnover. Open office layout with little to no privacy. This is just a personal preference for a more traditional office layout.
