Pros
As with any bar or nightclub, one of the distinct advantages of employment is the exposure to unique and exciting co-workers and patrons. Particularly, however, I applaud Local Icon’s hiring diversity. I’ve always been impressed with the inclusion of individuals hired without prejudice of sex, race, sexual orientation or preference, or cultural diversity.
Cons
There are standard practices in the service industry that establish and maintain trust amongst employees and management. The standard practices used at Local Icon are skewed differently per establishment, but are nefariously implemented in subtle ways, unique to each venue’s primary flaw. This is all just a way to more accurately convey the idea that “something just ain’t right!”.
