Pros

Not many. There are a few nice people, but that's about it.

Cons

The canned reviews, almost all of which were written in about a week's span, speak volumes. This was an internal push to increase the company's Glassdoor scores, so it's certainly not an accurate reflection of what's going on. The reliance on manual work and lack of technology is sad; the company refuses to come into this century and it drags the rest of the business down. Much time is spent on manual busy work/admin tasks and doing things the old way, instead of allowing efficiencies and thinking differently. The few bright stars who can will burn out, and will move on to places where their enthusiasm and knowledge is appreciated. And they will not be replaced, because severe understaffing is the norm. There are groups who are extremely difficult to work with and literally chase good people out the door; management is hell bent on pleasing these people, instead of fixing the problem. Tattling is heavily encouraged; if you think you can have an adult conversation with someone, forget it. They have been talking about you behind your back to your boss for months, and whoever tattles first, wins. People are told that they have the authority to make decisions for their own team, which is not the case at all. Let’s talk about Beer Friday: what an outdated, fratmosphere culture to perpetuate. Not everyone drinks (for various reasons, which may be personal), but the pressure to participate is enormous, and you will be told you don’t fit in if you don’t go (or can’t, because you’re still working). Absolutely toxic culture. Which they think is great and shout from the rooftops that they are a Best Place to Work, so go figure. I think everyone is terrified that if the company doesn’t get voted in one year, that there will be hell to pay, so they vote the company in out of sheer terror.

Pros

A true “team effort” environment. I think it really depends on who your team lead is and the dynamic of the group you work with. You will get a ton of experience fine tuning skills as they provide constant trainings and resources to learn. Decent pay when compared to competitor companies and great 401k plan. Plenty of company and marketing events. Hybrid work is great. Again to preface, who you work with can make or break the atmosphere, but everyone I’ve met has been extremely nice and willing to help. Opportunities to grow within the company.

Cons

Health benefits could be better. Company is really pushing new business and there can be a lot of work and last minute fires to put out that can feel daunting. There have been quite a few times I’ve worked late into the night to get things wrapped up. You need to self organize or things can easily fall through the cracks very quickly. A lot of meetings that can take up a majority of your day - leaving less time to get actual work done.
