Pros

The bonus is a potential pro but that may be in jeopardy because it happens twice annual but there has been no mention that employees will receive a mid year bonus

Cons

1. There are individuals who are at the management level and they don't have the necessary and/or required experience to be at that level. Most of them got there because they were good friends with the former owner of the company. You should not be made a manager by default you should actually have prior experience to be successful at the position that you have acquired. 2. The company is extremely unorganized and this lack of organization hurts every single one of its employees making it extremely difficult to complete tasks that are assigned to you 3. Management does not trust its employees and it shows. 4. One employee could do the job of about 6 people but the salary does not reflect the enormous and forever growing list of assignments that you are given on a daily basis 5. There are no attempts being made to retain employees, instead every day something is being taking away due to the "financial health" of the company 6. The benefits are lacking. I pay a very high monthly health insurance cost and I don't get half of what I received for paying the same amount at another company. 7. We work 9 to 5:30 because HQ is not willing to compensate for a full 1 hour break. 8. Numerous complaints can be filed against management/individual managers and no action will be taken against the manager in question, They can continue to cause anarchy without disciplinary action. 9. There are not enough opportunities for you to progress professionally. 10. The office culture is extremely rigid and uncompromising. 11. The PTO (vacation days) are lacking, especially when you have to use these same days to cover the times that you are sick or can't make it to work due to poor weather conditions (snowstorms) . 12. if you like to work somewhere where people think outside the box and brilliant ideas are encouraged this is not the place for you. This company runs on the philosophy of "Well, this is how we've always done it" and there are no signs of that changing anytime soon. 13. Burnout, Burnout, Burnout. Employees are not people here, we are robots!

Pros

The benefits are pretty good. They match your 401k and provide good health insurance at a reasonable price. My boss is understanding when it comes to having personal problems and needing to rearrange scheduling, etc.

Cons

-Too much politics! It doesn't matter how long you've worked here or how hard you work, 1) you will not get recognition for the work that you do (unless you have a friendly relationship with your boss). 2) If the managers don't personally like you, they will find a reason to let you go. -Even if you don't do much work, as long as you are friends with your boss you can get away with anything. -The employees are not valued. Takes advantage of employees/underpay employees. Company morale is VERY low due to this. -HR doesn't take any action when you report a problem to them. -They keep employees in the dark. No one has any idea what is going on with the company until it is time for the yearly meeting (and even then they don't tell the whole truth) -It's like high school at Locus. No one can approach a person face to face. Even managers talk to coworkers and subordinates about other coworkers. (Highly inappropriate!) -Management doesn't plan a strategy to move this company forward. They try to fix the problem after something happens and even then they fail. -This company has slowly been falling apart since around 2013.
