Pros

Management makes a decent effort in looking like they care, hard to tell if they're ever sincere because "fake smiles" are extremely encouraged by the corporate culture. Most of the time you'll be left alone to do your duties how you want. Management attempts to encourage on-the-job education, but time is never made for it so you'll be doing it on your own time if you do it at all.

Cons

Management extremely disconnected and only ever read, at most, the first sentence of anything they receive so they'll never understand what's going on after giving them information the first time. The average is three to five attempts to get them to comprehend what you're saying, but they'll always blame lower-downs for miscommunication. Using PTO is highly discouraged for employees under the age of 50 and nearly guaranteed for any employee over the age of 50. Injuries and illness are ignored or swept under the rug. Never expect to get time off for these, because you won't get it! New company rules discourage having part-time jobs or home businesses. Management has to be notified and has to approve any part-time jobs you want to have. Safety regulations and job requirements are solidly ignored and request for required equipment will be questioned, discouraged, and ignored. Expect to bring a lot of your own gear. Internal research on salaries within the industry is extremely out-of-date. Many managers still think copy operators make an average of $7 an hour. Over-inflated sense of the importance of the company, leading to managerial arrogance and an emphasis on "we can just replace you" mentality. Emphasis is on raw movement rather than results. Management would rather that employees look busy rather than actually accomplish anything. Overtime is common, but getting approval for paid overtime takes so long that you usually just end up doing it for free just to keep the client happy. Depending on the site, you can end up basically on-call 24/7.
