Pros
Overall I look back very fondly of my time at Council. I had mostly supportive management who were invested in my learning and development. The team ultimately cares a lot about the city and wants to deliver a high-level of service for the constituents. 9-day fortnight is fantastic. Management respects employees time greatly and are very fair when it comes to receiving time-in-lieu
Cons
Internal Mobility is not encouraged. Secondments do happen, but to lock in a new position full time can be difficult. Like most councils, it can be incredible slow moving and bureaucratic.
