Pros

This company makes an effort to make the sales floor a community. Training is fairly comprehensive, especially if you learn well on your own without classroom guidance. Reasonable incentives and starting pay.

Cons

Soul-crushing telemarketing work. Inside sales is the type of career I would only look at as a last resort - this job provides an average salary with an above average amount of work and pressure. And let's be honest, cold-calling is not a respectable line of work. Prepare for people to treat you like the scum of the earth you are. What bothered me the most was stupid coworkers. Recruiting at LP makes you believe that this is a solid choice for college graduates. In reality, as an "internet marketing specialist," you'll be working alongside people with no college education and few skills who barely even understand the product they're selling.

Logical Position Response

We are sorry that you didn't have a great experience with us. Cold-calling is an entry-level position at our company. Nearly everyone in the company (including all VPs and the CEO) spent time on the phones. This job is a fabulous opportunity for a recent college graduate because you learn the fundamentals of online marketing, sales and teamwork in a fun, upbeat environment. These are incredibly important skills in today's job market.

Pros

Great team of people on every level, from the training to the teams we are on when we get started- everyone is so supportive and they really make the workday more fun. The training and the amount of resources available really do lay a foundation for success in this role that's hard to beat.

Cons

It's hard to say that there are really any "cons" because this job is entirely what you make of it.
