Great colleagues, but pay could improve - Paramedic London Ambulance Service Employee Review

There aren't many pros. Worked for LAS for 5 years and by the time I left I was mentally traumatised.

I have no idea why the LAS is not on special measures for their abusive management and staff culture. It's bad enough that staff are so overworked but to then add bullying, harassment and unfair treatment to the mix makes it a destructive place to work. Despite all of the efforts they have tried, the culture is still the same. Their culture is full of racism, misogyny, ableisim, nepotism and cronyism. When they do announced visits CQC should take control of who they want to speak to because LAS always makes sure that they get their cheerleaders to cover up their mess. If you value your mental health, stay away from LAS!
