Pros
Friendly, knowledgeable people to work with; work that is always interesting and challenging; a great, community-minded organization. Employees are taken care of very well with great benefits, a pension plan, and numerous appreciation gestures and events throughout the year. The company also made a very quick and effective pivot to allowing people to work from home during COVID-19.
Cons
A lot of information exists in silos with outdated communication practices (e.g. email chains that get forwarded to numerous people at different times), and it can often be difficult to track down the right person or document for knowledge about a given process.
