Pros

Compensation and benefits are good.

Cons

That’s about it, though. The compensation and benefits make it so employees won’t leave. The company was drastically different a year ago. Culture used to be the focus, with innovation right behind it. That’s simply not the case anymore. Drama and politics with lower level and senior management, favoritism amongst leaders and employees, and a company set in their old ways. What got them to where they are now isn’t going to be what get’s them to the next stage of business, and there’s not a willingness to adapt and to accept feedback. Egos are everywhere. If you want to go somewhere where your voice is heard, this will not be the place. Your opinion has to match that of OG Loopers or senior leadership to be considered valid. It seems like they care about career development, but they don’t. You’re promised a gem of a company, and are left with a high-stress environment, terrible work life balance, and feeling unable to take vacation days (yet they’ll preach their unlimited vacation policy) Market fit is still unknown for them. There’s too many cooks in the kitchen for them to see what’s going on in their own business and in the market, which is leading to missed opportunity. Like the previous review, slow and half-baked product launches and an ever changing roadmap. CEO preaches his personal opinions as the companies opinion, and brings political issues into business. Yet, will push these publicly stated opinions aside for revenue. For example, they’re “committed” to BLM, but they then bring on merchants who have anti-BLM merchandise. You’ll see the other Glassdoor reviews here and it seems like feedback is being heard, but nothing changes.

Thank you for the feedback—it is very much appreciated. And glad you're still here. As we grow and become a growth stage company, change is going to be a constant. And we can't continue to hold onto what used to be—you're right. One on ones with your supervisor should be your primary forum to voice your concerns and ask questions to help get you the support you deserve and need. But I'll also use this as an opportunity to make sure skip level 1-1s are happening in your organization. If we are all able to presume positive intent, and we acknowledge that communication is hard, then it's more likely that your concerns aren't making their way to me than it is that they're being dismissed. And ultimately, if you're not having your needs met by your supervisor and/or you feel like concerns are falling on deaf ears, please feel free to reach out to me directly—you have access to my phone number, and you can reach me any time day or night via Slack or email, and I promise to respond. Again—thank you. And please know that I am accessible to you, any time day or night. - Jonathan Poma

Pros

- The recruiting team is fast and communications is clear. - Compensation is well above market. - There is a strong culture that values being a human first. - Most managers care about you, about what you do, and they will chase results by your side. - They have high-profile clients, and the vast majority of merchants seem to like the product. - They lead the market and have an excellent product strategy. - The CEO knows what she is doing, that's for sure. She's ready to make this a billion-dollar company while delivering exceptional value to merchants and building a great company culture. Just watch her speak for a minute or two and you'll see she's not kidding.

Cons

- They use too many internal tools, that is very often confusing. Some are obviously unnecessary and actually reduces productivity. - In general, the leaders are enthusiastic and very competent, but some (very few) high-profile executives seem a bit "disconnected" from the rest of the company and don't really reflect the eagerness and hunger for success of the CEO, if that makes sense.

Pros

Great people, great culture. A lot of opportunity to stand out and make an impact.

Cons

Can be chaotic, priorities and initiatives can shift a lot. Sometimes it feels like the company can get in it's own way.
