Pros

Lowe's provides an excellent atmosphere that is fun, safe, and comfortable to work in. I was worried about not knowing where things were when a customer asked, but you can always look to a fellow employee to give you a hand....with anything! If you've never used powered equipment, that will change.

Cons

If you aren't full time, hours will get cut around Summer time. Having a heavy work-load and having to cover 1 or 2 other departments. When you put on the vest, the customer will assume that you know EVERYTHING about EVERYTHING in the store while others will expect you to be in 2 places at once. It may seem tedious at times, but no matter how busy you are, you have to make it a habit to stop and ask EVERY customer (with a smile) if they could use your help for anything.

Pros

I had learned so much about plants during my time in the live nursery and working with third party companies in taking care of and treating these plants. we were always checked on made sure we weren't exhausted or too hot there are plenty of benefits at working at lowes even in seasonal.

Cons

although there were hiccups in communication that resulted in confusion and some messing with others out of spite, the heat could get intense and in turn attitudes are on the rise

Pros

If you want to be lazy it's perfect 👌

Cons

This is the worst company I have EVER worked for, the worst I've ever been treated by an employer. So bad it caused me to be suicidal. The managers are incompetent. They are not leaders, they do not care about your wellbeing, just what they can get out of you. If you don't get credit cards you get yelled at. I'm seen so many employees just walk out because of that reason alone. I begged for full time, never gave it to me, but still give it to new hires. Which caused my kids and I to have no health insurance. Constantly changing my schedule. Which causes you to never be able to make any plans, or have a life. Denied my leave of absence for surgery as I'm literally laying in bed waiting to get surgery. Which was still dinged as a call out. Eventually leading me to a final, to finally get fired from the hell hole that is Lowes. I was smiling getting fired, walked out the door and felt so much relief. Lowes blows.
