Pros

Regular customers become like friends Some of the coworkers are nice, knowledgeable people Sundays off, some paid holidays off Entry-level job

Cons

Very stressful and a lot is expected of employees for being paid just over minimum wage Understaffed leads to being overworked Hardly ever get off at the scheduled time due to last minute customers or being understaffed Everyone is very unprofessional on most levels, including management Not room to move up unless someone quits or gets fired, which is rare because most of the managers have been at the company for 10+ years.

Pros

The work is rewarding. You are able to help customers, and prolong the life & functionality of their vehicles. Many Lube Stop employees are some of the nicest, most genuine people I have ever interacted with.

Cons

The pay rate is inadequate, especially if you work at one of Lube Stop's busier locations. Would you believe that the people taking care of your vehicle make the same or less than the people making your fast food burgers & fries? You will ruin your personally purchased clothing(shoes/boots, socks, undershirts), which adds to living expenses that are already unattainable at such low pay rates.
