Pros

There was promise when I initially started. Some colleagues were supportive.

Cons

No room for career growth plus wages are at the lower end. Suggestions are not heard, and instead we are told off for initiative at times. Work has more than doubled since joining but no pay increase.

Pros

Decent lab infrastructure and NGS tech

Cons

Low pay, no option for advancement. They expect you to fill in for layoffs without additional pay for almost a year, and then give you lackluster review. An employee should not be held accountable fo a company's lack of hiring. They are not doing well despite all the press coverage so don't fall for it.
